On the last day of the relay, athletes started from the port of Kimolos and swam around the northern part of the island of Mylos in order to reach its port, Adamantas. This was a distance of approximately 35 km. At Adamantas, athletes, their escorts and sailing crew completed their relay. They all reached the shore swimming together as one, strong team. In Mylos, the culmination of this ambitious project, athletes were generously welcomed by the locals and the Mayor of Mylos, Mr Tsenis.
