On day four, Tuesday 23 September 2003, athletes swam from Sifnos to Kimolos, covering a distance similar to that of the two previous days in approximately 10 hours. Welcoming of the local people at Kimolos was overwhelming for the Aegeathlon athletes. All local people gathered at the small port of Kimolos and embraced the swimmers with applauds, local delicacies and their warmest appreciation for their efforts. The Aegeathlon message grew stronger and stronger every day, across every mile swam in the open sea.
Aegeathlon
